In short

Storing of a large number of documents. Thanks to the programming technologies we employed, Job3 Document does not fear the storage of large amounts of data, while maintaining high speed in search and data acquisition.

Attachments. Each document can be attached to other documents or contain its own attachments (eg. a deferred bill of sale can be attached to its own transport documents).

Document types and files are configurable by the user without limitation in the number of keys such as: String, Integer, Date.

Registries management. Job3 Document integrates a completely parametric system of registries configuration that can be loaded from the outside via text file or SQL. This makes it possible to import external files or create custom categories.

Search by key, with the possibility to search data with complex expressions such as "greater than 100 or between 10 and 20". The available operators are: More than ... Less than ... Greater than or equal to ... Less than or equal to ... Same ... Between ... and ... or different from ...

Full-text search. It is actually an advanced form of research whereby all documents are analyzed in order to trace the presence of words, portions of text or concepts in the body of the document, through the use of logical operators. This type of research is applicable to most common document formats (such as pdf, Office documents in general or e-mail) and all to the proprietary formats that support it.

E-mail sending in PDF format of documents with defaulted mail client or using MAPI client connected to the names column.

Workflow. Job3 Document allows to define procedures applicable to each type of document.
Depending on the procedure defined during the configuration process, the document assumes different state values that trace the pathway. At each change of state can be defined some rules that trigger the execution of automatic notification actions (mail sending, sms, fax, etc.) or the modification of the filed documents.

Efficient meeting point between analogical and digital

Capture from virtual printer, thanks to a virtual printer easy to install, you can capture documents from any printing generated by Windows applications (eg Word, Excel, Cad, Fax, etc..)

Capture from spooler, spooler allows you to scan documents from the text spooler of Job, ERP or other management applications. With a dedicated spool editing tool and thanks to the vector support you can create a document complete of graphics items from a simple text file.

Capture from scanner. Job3 Document supports the direct acquisition of documents from a scanner compatible with the TWAIN standard. With a special technology we are able to bypass the appliance User Interface significantly reducing processing time.

Capture from remote scanner. Job3 Document has a software module that can share scanners with no Ethernet interface and installed on remote PCs. It is ideal for those engaged in Citrix or MS Terminal Server.

Capture from scanner with barcode recognition. This feature allows you to capture a document from the scanner by performing the barcode recognition (OCR) present in any position of the document.

Capture from filesystem. This feature is activated with a simple "point and click" and it captures any document in the file system on your PC.

Reliability and security in a multiuser environment

Automatic Login. With the classic log-in screen to the program (based on input of the user name and password), the automatic login provides immediate access for those users who are properly authenticated in a Windows environment. This feature actually helps the user in terms of ease of use of the software without affecting the safety standards that we set.

User and Access Management. Ability to configure users, groups and permissions for access to stored documents and files.

Log activity on Business documents. All consultation and changes made by users on the documents are duly recorded, giving to system administrators, the ability to monitor and evaluate, in statistical terms, the actual application usage.

More co-workers can carry out complex projects, share documents of any kind in a simple and efficient way.

Notificication. With this feature, a user can notify documents to one or more co-workers (even to the entire group) in an extremely simple way by being able to consult at any time the status of the notification.

Check-in e Check-out. This feature allows blocking of editing a document in the case of a withdrawal (check-out) by another user.

Versioning. Any change (check-in) of a document is automatically traced providing a progressive version number and maintaining an archive of releases.

Technology and Versatility

Job3 Document is a client / server software built on MS .NET 3.5 technology and on relational database SQL Server 2005 that guarantees very high performances during research stage. The modern "Fluent" interface, Office 2007 style, allows a simplified approach even for less experienced users. To further enhance the usability of the program we have introduced a number of parameters that allow the configuration of each single client depending on the characteristics of the user.

Interoperability. Job3 Document easily integrates with any management software or other type of software. The call can be made at the command line or via a COM object. The information exchange takes place via XML.

Terminal Server. Job3 Document is certified for use on Microsoft Terminal Server.

Outlook Plugin. The acquisition of an e-mail can be run directly from Outlook using a handy plug-in.

Online updates. The software update and technical assistance can be made directly via the Internet thanks to an internal communication tool.
